The BIG FAQ
What do founders ask before working with me?
Everything in one place. Prices, tie-ins, how the work actually runs and who each service is for. If your question is not here, ask me on a call.

The relationship
Is there a minimum contract?+
No contract, no tie-in, cancel whenever you want. What I'll say honestly is give it three months. It takes time for me to properly understand you, the business, your ambitions and the things that are really getting in the way. The better I understand the whole picture, the more useful I can be.
How often can I contact you?+
Where included in your package, you'll have 24/7 access to me through WhatsApp. Message when you need advice, a steer, a second opinion or simply some encouragement during a difficult moment. I may not always reply instantly, but you won't need to wait until the next scheduled call when something important comes up.
Do you work on the business outside our calls?+
Yes. I'm not interested in turning up for a call, sharing a few opinions and disappearing. Depending on what we're working through, I may review plans, proposals, numbers, messaging, websites, products or other important documents. I'll think about the business between conversations, make relevant introductions where included and help keep agreed actions moving.
How is this different from a traditional adviser or coach?+
I call it Co-Founder-as-a-Service. You get the judgement, pattern recognition, commercial experience, accountability and support of another experienced founder without giving away control of the business. I'll challenge your thinking, help solve problems and get involved where I can genuinely make a difference. I'm not there simply to ask questions or give you a report to implement alone.
Will you tell me what I want to hear?+
No. I'll support you, but I'll challenge you too. Founders rarely need another person agreeing with everything they say. You need somebody prepared to ask the difficult questions, identify what isn't working and help you make a better decision.
Is everything confidential?+
Yes. You need to be able to speak openly about money, people, performance, pressure and the decisions keeping you awake at night. Our conversations and the information you share are treated as confidential.
Fit and expectations
Have you actually done this yourself?+
Yes. I'm a serial founder who has personally sold three businesses. I've built businesses, led teams, won and lost clients, dealt with cash pressure, made mistakes and lived with the responsibility of being the person everybody looks to for the answer. I'm sharing experience I've earned, not a business theory I've only read about.
What types of businesses do you work with?+
I primarily work with B2B founders and leadership teams who've built something with genuine potential but need greater clarity, structure, predictability or momentum. That might mean sharpening the proposition, improving profit, building a repeatable route to market, reducing founder dependency or preparing the business to scale, sell or operate without them.
What stage does my business need to be at?+
You don't need to have everything figured out, but there needs to be something real to work with. That could be customers, early traction, a proven skill set, an existing team or a clear market opportunity. I'm most useful when there is evidence and ambition, but the route forward is not yet clear or repeatable.
What can we work on together?+
Whatever is genuinely holding the business back. Positioning, products, pricing, sales, go-to-market, profit, cash, leadership structure, hiring, founder time, accountability, scalability or exit planning. We'll identify the priorities and work on them in the right order rather than trying to fix everything at once.
Will you work with my team?+
Yes, where appropriate. A lot of founder problems are really team, structure or communication problems. I can work with the leadership team, coach individuals, clarify responsibilities and help everybody understand the priorities. The level of involvement depends on the product and what the business genuinely needs.
Do you work internationally?+
Yes. I work with founders and businesses across different markets and time zones. Calls and WhatsApp make the relationship easy to manage remotely, with in-person involvement included where appropriate and agreed.
Which option is right for me?+
The Founder Line is for a focused monthly review of the numbers and key decisions. Co-Founder-as-a-Service is for founders ready to move beyond advice and work directly with a founder who has personally sold three businesses every week. The Integrated Partner Offer is for a small number of businesses that want me inside the company: owning and delivering parts of it, deploying my network and joining the executive team. Sell Your Business is for founders ready to find the right buyer and exit. If you're unsure, book a call and we'll work it out honestly.
How do we get started?+
We start with an honest conversation about you, the business, where you want to take it and what's getting in the way. If I believe I can help, I'll recommend the most appropriate way for us to work together. If I don't think I'm the right person, I'll tell you.
Commercial questions
Do I get access to your network?+
It depends on the product you choose. Where introductions are included, I'll open the right doors when there is a genuine reason to do it. That might be a potential client, partner, investor, adviser, supplier or future team member. I won't make introductions simply to tick a box. My network is built on trust, so every introduction has to make sense for everyone involved.
Will you help me sell?+
Yes, but I'm not there to become your outsourced salesperson. I'll help sharpen the positioning, develop the right products, improve the proposition, review the pricing and create a clearer route to market. I can support important opportunities and commercial conversations where appropriate. The goal is to build something repeatable that doesn't rely on either you or me personally selling everything.
Will you help me raise investment?+
I can help you work out whether investment is genuinely the right decision, strengthen the commercial story and prepare for investor conversations. Where your product includes introductions and I believe the opportunity is credible, I may introduce you to relevant people. I can't guarantee investment and I won't recommend raising money simply because it feels like the obvious next step.
Will you help me recruit?+
I can help you decide who the business genuinely needs, define the role and assess whether a potential hire is right for the next stage. Where introductions are included and I know somebody suitable, I may make that connection. I'm not a recruitment agency, but I can help you avoid hiring the wrong person for the wrong reason.
What results can you guarantee?+
I can't guarantee a number. I don't control every decision, every market or every action inside your business, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling. What I can promise is honest thinking, commercial experience, constructive challenge, practical support and genuine commitment. The founders who get the most from me are prepared to act on what we uncover.
Do you take equity?+
Most relationships are based on a monthly fee. For a small number of Integrated Partner relationships, I may consider equity, a success fee or another commercial structure where the fit and opportunity justify it. Nothing is assumed and everything is agreed clearly in advance.
Do you replace my accountant, agency or leadership team?+
No. I'll work alongside the right specialists and help you get more value from them. I can challenge the numbers, proposition, plan and priorities, but I'm not pretending to be your accountant, lawyer, agency or executive team.
How many founders do you work with?+
I deliberately keep the number limited because this only works if I have enough headspace to think about each business properly. If there isn't space when you get in touch, I'd rather put you on a waitlist than take you on and give you less than you're paying for.
